Job Descriptions

(Japan) Looking for a Reservation Manager for a luxury hotel. 

Responsibility: 
• Communicate throughout the hotel all updates that relate to any reservations special requests. These include changes in room rates, promotional specials, group movement, VIP guests, etc.
• Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate management
• Actively takes reservation enquiries.
• Follow-up on all Groups, Blocks, Allotment, and room lists.
• Ensure that all special requests are handles appropriately by supervising the accuracy of all reservations.
• Ensure that all correspondence relating to accommodation enquiries is actioned promptly and efficiently.
• To maintain professional business confidentiality.
• To conduct yourself in a professional manner always and maintain high grooming standard.
• Positively contribute to all the sales activities within the hotel and maximize sales opportunities

Requirements:
• Previous work experience in similar positions in a luxury hotel is preferred
• Preferably candidates who can speak Japanese Language (a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
